What a success for the 2024 Équipe des Couleurs!

This edition brought together:

  • 549 participants welcomed at the Restaurant Le Lyrique
  • 15 companies and 2 schools united to share their energy and support
  • 22 enthusiastic and committed volunteers
  • 1 sports trainer for a dynamic warm-up

Thanks to this collective effort, CHF 17,000.- were raised to support Paint a Smile’s mission.

Participatory Art in Vevey: Collective Murals to Transform School Playgrounds

The City of Vevey, Nestlé, and the Paint a Smile Foundation, in collaboration with Caran d’Ache, are delighted to launch this creative initiative!

Together, we invite pupils to participate in creating collective murals—an opportunity for them to express their creativity, share ideas, and celebrate diversity. This project transforms school playgrounds into vibrant, colourful spaces that inspire joy and foster solidarity.

World Artists’ Day

Thanks to their creativity and the remarkable support of our colour partner Caran d’Ache, we continue to bring joy and vibrant colour to care and living spaces.

Each artist dedicates approximately 13 weeks a year to diverse projects, ensuring the continual improvement of the artistic and therapeutic quality of Paint a Smile’s murals. We sincerely thank them for their talent and unwavering dedication!

Geneva University Hospitals – BBA1 Unit

October 2024

Inauguration of the murals created in the play area of the BBA1 Unit, dedicated to toddlers.

Testimonial: This ‘Paint a Smile’ creation, together with the new furniture, stimulates sensory engagement and offers a soothing break during hospitalisation. Supported by carers or parents, this environment fosters the child’s well-being and development.

Each area tells a story:

– A tropical jungle in the waiting room.

– Insects and maritime horizons in the corridors leading to the consultation rooms.

– Enchanted Switzerland in the inpatient area, with more detailed murals to accompany longer stays.

Inauguration of a participatory mural in the centre’s recreation room. This project involved the collaboration of 55 students and 2 artists, focusing on values such as friendship, empathy, and community living.
